The Louisburgh Horse Show Society Present their

13th Annual Dog Show Sunday 21st July 2019

Entries on the day from 11.30am - €3.00 entry fee for each class Judges Decision is final-
Classes start at 1pm sharp

*All Dogs Must Be on A Lead at All Times*

Dr Ger Fleming will be there from 12.30 to give a FREE handling lesson to any of the juniors who would like to learn. I’m sure the not too junior will be welcome too!

Class 1 – Terrier: Cairn, Airedale, Scottish, Yorkshire, West Highland (No Jack Russells; see class 2) Class 2 – Jack Russell
Class 3 – Spaniels: Springer, Cocker etc
Class 4 – Any variety Retriever: Labrador, Golden Retriever

Class 5 – Any variety Setter: Pointer, Red Setter, English setter etc
Class 6 – Pastoral Group: Border Collie, Rough Collie
Class 7 – Utility Group: Akita, Schnauzer, Poodle, Chow Chow. Shi Tzu, Dalmatian, Spitz Class 8 – Working Group: German Shepherd, Great Dane, Doberman, Rottweiler. St Bernard. Class 9 - Hound Group: Afghan, Beagle, Dachshund, Greyhound, Irish Wolfhound


Class 10 - Toy Dog: Cavalier King Charles, Chihuahua, Maltese, Pomeranian, Pug, Pekinese, Miniature
Breeds etc
Class 11 – Rescue Class: This year we are raising money for North West SPCA Ballina All entry money from this class will be donated to the charity. THIS CLASS IS FOR RESCUE DOGS ONLY
Class 12 – Puppy Class: Any breed under 12 months old.
Class 13 – Any Mixed Variety
Class 14 - Best handler under 12 yrs. of age: Class A: Boy Class B: Girl
Class 15 – Best handler between 13-18 yrs. of age: Class A: Boys Class B: Girls
Class 16 - Senior handler: Class A: Male Class B: Female
Class 17 - Best Groomed Dog,
Class 18- The dog I would most like to take home
Class 19 - Canine Veteran (old dog)
Class 20 - Fancy Dress
Class 21 - Champion Dog of the Show open to first prize winners of classes 1-11

DOG QUALIFIERS

The Irish Shows Association and Beltra Show Society Present: -

The All Ireland Gun Dog Championship – Prize Fund - €400
Sponsored by: Tiereragh Gun Club, Cecil Whiteside & Beltra Show Society. Rules & conditions:

  1. 1.Gun dog any variety – dog/bitch.

  2. 2.Dog must be handled by person over 16yrs.

  3. 3.Dogs in final are not eligible to compete in any other classes at Beltra Show

These rules should be read in conjunction with the Irish Shows Association Rules.
Entry fee to qualifying show €3.00 to Final €6.00
Prizes (in the final) 1st €150, 2nd €100, 3rd €75, 4th €50, 5th €25 Perpetual cup to 1st prize winner. Final – Beltra Show, Saturday 7th September 2019
Irish Shows Association and Bonniconlon Show Present
The Dog Safe Fence Connaught Championship (Open to All Breeds)
Sponsored by Tony Keane, Ballina Kennels, Ballina, Co. Mayo.
Prize fund - €1000
Rules and conditions

  1. 1.This competition is open to any breed of dog

  2. 2.2 dogs to qualify from each show

  3. 3.Entries in this championship may compete in any other dog class at Bonniconlon Show.

  4. 4.All dogs must enter ring without rosette

These rules should be read in conjunction with the Irish Show Association rules. Entry Fee – at Qualifying show €3.00 to final €6.00
Prize fund at Bonniconlon Show
1st: Dog Safe fence supplied and fitted value €500
2nd: Voucher to the value €300 for Ballina Boarding Kennels
3rd: Trio Bloom Dog food to the value of €200
Final – Bonniconlon Show Monday August 5th 2019
Irish Show Association and Boyle Show Society Present
The Boyle Spaniel Dog All Ireland Championship
Sponsored by Stewarts Oil, Boyle, Co. Roscommon.
Rules and Conditions.

1. Any variety of Spaniel Dog.
2. Dog must be handled by any person over 18 years of age.
3. Dog in Final is not eligible to compete in other classes at Boyle Show other than a Qualifier for another Final.

These Rules must be read in conjunction with the Irish Show Association Rules.
Entry fee to qualifying show €3. To Final €6
Prizes at Boyle Show: 1st €100, 2nd €50, 3rd €30
Kenco Dog Foods will be presented to all owners of all qualified Dogs that appear in Final. Final – Boyle Show – Sunday 11th August 2019.
